 AIO Prep Academy Enrollment Checklist

Thank you for considering AIO Prep Academy for your child's High School education through the Pearson Online Classroom. Many international families desire an opportunity for their children to attend Colleges and Universities in the United States.  Our private online school program offers students abroad a opportunity to prepare for a collegiate career in the United States of America. The following information on this page will help you prepare for full-time enrollment.  A Child must have completed JSS2 or 8th grade, and have proof of age to enroll in AIO Prep Academy.  Required Documents The documents below are required for your child to enroll in school online at American International Online Prep Academy. Please upload and submit or transfer information from the following: Child's Proof of Age A copy of one of the following documents must be provided for every student to verify age eligibility.

• Official birth certificate
• Official Passport
• Official government provided identity card   (ie. driver’s license, permanent resident card)

If you have issue with any official documents please contact the website or local office of your country’s state department for further information on attaining the required official documents for enrollment.

Once you have your Official Documents, follow the Payment Instructions Link, and you will receive access to upload your documents to our processing team for verification of your student's documents for official registration qualification.The age eligibility for High School is as follows:

• High School: Students who are over 16 years of age by January 1st may not enroll in AIO Prep Academy. It is recommended that all incoming students with AIO Prep Academy enroll as High School Freshman, this will assure you are graduating with all the proper course credits in American Academic Instruction to be prepared for the best universities in the United States and qualify to participate in University athletics and potentially earn a scholarship.
• Students may receive credits for courses previously completed from their last school in Math, Science, and English based upon an assessment from AIO Prep Academy/Pearson Online Classroom Student Counselors.

Important Documents-Prior Academic Records All students are required to submit academic records for placement.  Academic staff will review your records to determine the best curriculum for each student.

• Report Card/Transcripts
• For JSS3/9th grade enrollment, students are required to show evidence of successful completion of eighth grade level  coursework or the equivalent.
• All students will be incoming 9th graders and are required to provide the above level course work.

The following items should be included on the report card:

• Student Name
• Grade Level
• School Year (example: 2019–20)
• School Name
• Grading Scale (example: 90–100%=A)
• School Year (example: 2019–20)
• School Name
• Grading Scale (example: 90–100%=A)
• Credits Earned

To Get Your Child’s Report Card or Transcript 

• Contact your student's previous school and request the documentation, providing them with the information outlined above, OR contact your school's district office with the request.

• Enrollment Notification and Request for Student Records Form
  • This form is used to request the student’s  records from their previous school.
  • This document is not sent to the school until the student is enrolled in AIO Prep Academy/Pearson Online Classorm.
  • This document serves as formal notification that AIOPA/POC has enrolled this student for the indicated school year. It requests that the school release all official, cumulative school records for the student to AIO Prep Academy.
